Warriors' Draymond Green, Ian Clark leave game after scary collision
All-Star power forward Draymond Green and Warriors teammate Ian Clark left Friday night’s game against the Lakers after being hurt on the same play under the basket late in the third quarter in Los Angeles.
Clark was on the court in the paint after getting tangled trying to get in position to contest a shot by Lou Williams of the Lakers. When Green also challenged the play, his left ankle twisted when he landed, causing his right leg to hit Clark’s throat.
Both went to the locker room, with Green moving gingerly. There was no immediate word on the condition of either. Both players will not return to tonight’s game.
The Warriors were leading 74-56 at the time of the collision and went on to win their 10th straight game, 109-85.
