The Miami Heat defeated the Los Angeles Lakers, 107-90, in the California Classic Summer League at Golden 1 Center on Monday.
Miami kickstarted this game with a 22-16 first quarter and took command behind a 36-24 second quarter. That 18-point lead allowed the Heat to maintain a double-digit lead for the entirety of the second half. The Heat shot 38 percent from the field and 46 percent from three-point range (15-of-33) while holding the Lakers to 33 percent from the field and 21 percent from long range (5-of-24).
