Irving (illness), Horford (rest) out tonight for Celtics

BOSTON (AP) — The Boston Celtics will be without starters Kyrie Irving and Al Horford for their game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Irving is not playing due to symptoms similar to the flu, and Horford is resting Wednesday night. Horford was absent from seven games in December due to soreness in his left knee.

Coach Brad Stevens announced that Terry Rozier will replace Irving in the starting lineup, while Aron Baynes will step in for Horford.

Boston is coming in on a four-game winning streak. On the other hand, the Cavaliers are struggling, having lost 16 out of their last 17 games, and currently hold the NBA’s worst record at 9-39.
