F1 starting grid: What is the grid order for the 2024 Spanish Grand Prix?

Lando Norris pipped Max Verstappen to pole for the 2024 Spanish Grand Prix in a thrilling qualifying battle.
With Verstappen in the Red Bull and McLaren’s Norris joined by the Ferrari and Mercedes duos seemingly in the battle for pole, it was Verstappen and Norris who emerged from this pack as Norris secured that P1 grid slot for Sunday’s Spanish Grand Prix.
Lando Norris snatches Spanish GP pole from Max Verstappen
Verstappen seemed to have secured the pole after finding a few more tenths in his final run. However, Norris delivered a 1:11.383, surpassing Verstappen by a mere 0.02s, thus claiming the pole for himself.
Lewis Hamilton and George Russell will form an all-Mercedes second row, with Hamilton outqualifying Russell for only the second time this season. On the third row, Charles Leclerc will be ahead of his Ferrari team-mate and local star, Carlos Sainz.
The top 10 for the Spanish Grand Prix grid is completed by Pierre Gasly, Esteban Ocon, Oscar Piastri, and Fernando Alonso.

Following his three-place grid penalty from Canada, Sergio Perez is set to spearhead the effort to break into the top 10 and earn points. Valtteri Bottas of Sauber will join him on the sixth row.
Nico Hulkenberg from Haas and Lance Stroll, Alonso’s teammate from Aston Martin, will comprise the seventh row. They will be ahead of Zhou Guanyu from the second Sauber and Kevin Magnussen from Haas.
Yuki Tsunoda leads Daniel Ricciardo in an all-RB ninth row. Alex Albon and Logan Sargeant from Williams will essentially form the last row in the Spanish Grand Prix. The team decided to modify Albon’s Energy Store and Control Electronics, which led to him moving down to the pit lane.
