F1 starting grid: What is the grid order for the 2024 Spanish Grand Prix?

Lando Norris pipped Max Verstappen to pole for the 2024 Spanish Grand Prix in a thrilling qualifying battle.
With Verstappen in the Red Bull and McLaren’s Norris joined by the Ferrari and Mercedes duos seemingly in the battle for pole, it was Verstappen and Norris who emerged from this pack as Norris secured that P1 grid slot for Sunday’s Spanish Grand Prix.
Lando Norris snatches Spanish GP pole from Max Verstappen
After his final run seemed to secure him the pole position, Verstappen was overtaken by Norris who delivered a 1:11.383, beating Verstappen’s time by a mere 0.02s and claiming the pole for himself.
Lewis Hamilton and George Russell will form an all-Mercedes second row, with Hamilton outqualifying Russell for only the second time this season. Charles Leclerc will be ahead of his Ferrari team-mate and local favorite, Carlos Sainz, on the third row.
The top 10 of the Spanish Grand Prix grid is completed by Pierre Gasly, Esteban Ocon, Oscar Piastri, and Fernando Alonso.

Following his three-place grid penalty issued in Canada, Sergio Perez is set to spearhead the endeavour to break into the top 10 and earn points. Accompanying him on the sixth row will be Valtteri Bottas from Sauber.
Nico Hulkenberg from Haas and Lance Stroll, Alonso’s teammate from Aston Martin, will form the seventh row. They will be ahead of Zhou Guanyu from the second Sauber team and Kevin Magnussen from Haas.
Yuki Tsunoda leads Daniel Ricciardo in the all-RB row nine for the Spanish Grand Prix, while Alex Albon from Williams and Logan Sargeant will essentially make up the last row. Albon was relegated to the pit lane when his team chose to replace his Energy Store and Control Electronics.
