F1 starting grid: What is the grid order for the 2024 Spanish Grand Prix?

Lando Norris pipped Max Verstappen to pole for the 2024 Spanish Grand Prix in a thrilling qualifying battle.
With Verstappen in the Red Bull and McLaren’s Norris joined by the Ferrari and Mercedes duos seemingly in the battle for pole, it was Verstappen and Norris who emerged from this pack as Norris secured that P1 grid slot for Sunday’s Spanish Grand Prix.
Lando Norris snatches Spanish GP pole from Max Verstappen
After Verstappen seemed to secure pole position with his final run, Norris delivered a 1:11.383, outperforming Verstappen by a mere 0.02s, securing the pole position for himself.
The second row will be entirely occupied by Mercedes, with Lewis Hamilton outqualifying George Russell for only the second time this season. Charles Leclerc, ahead of his Ferrari team-mate and local hero Carlos Sainz, will be on the third row.
The top 10 for the Spanish Grand Prix grid is completed by Pierre Gasly, Esteban Ocon, Oscar Piastri, and Fernando Alonso.

Following his three-place grid penalty from Canada, Sergio Perez is set to break into the top 10 and earn points-paying positions, with Valtteri Bottas from Sauber joining him on the sixth row.
Nico Hulkenberg of Haas and Lance Stroll, teammate to Alonso at Aston Martin, will make up the seventh row, ahead of Zhou Guanyu from the second Sauber team and Kevin Magnussen from Haas.
Yuki Tsunoda is ahead of Daniel Ricciardo in an all-RB row nine. Alex Albon from Williams and Logan Sargeant will essentially make up the back row for the Spanish Grand Prix. After the team decided to change his Energy Store and Control Electronics, Albon fell back to the pit lane.
