Dwayne Casey will not coach against Indiana because of personal reasons.
Detroit Pistons coach Dwane Casey will miss Thursday’s contest against the Indiana Pacers for personal reasons, the team announced.
Casey’s absence is non-COVID related.
The Detroit Pistons announced this afternoon that head coach Dwane Casey will miss tonight's contest at Indiana for personal reasons (non-COVID). Assistant coach Rex Kalamian will assume the head coaching duties for the game against the Pacers.

Assistant coach Rex Kalamian will assume head coaching duties for the game. Indiana will be coached by assistant coach Lloyd Pierce with coach Rick Carlisle still in the NBA’s Health and Safety Protocols.
Detroit is 4-22 and currently on a 12-game losing streak.
