Flying Tigers Highlight White Mountain Saturday Night with Central Asphalt Triple Crown

Following the biggest weekend of the year for White Mountain Motorsports Park, the Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tigers are back on top as the headline division this Saturday, August 10. In fact, all six White Mountain divisions return as part of the action in this Saturday’s make-up event for a home-grown night of excitement under the lights at New Hampshire’s Favorite Short Track!

East Thetford, Vermont’s Brandon Gray has been the man to beat in Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tiger competition from HK Powersports Opening Day clean through to today! The young veteran has cleaned house, winning all eight Flying Tiger events held at White Mountain Motorsports Park this summer, standing high atop the standings for both the track championship and the Central Asphalt Paving Triple Crown Series. This Saturday’s 75-lap affair will be the latest test in Gray’s dominance at White Mountain as a talent-filled group of the division's finest are expected to return for a chance at the brass ring.

The Foley Oil & Propane Late Models return after a week off with last Saturday's American-Canadian Tour invasion. Nine-time champion Quinny Welch holds a narrow two-point lead over young-gun Tanner Woodard with both looking to overcome a rough go in last week’s Milton CAT 250.

Patrick Switser remains ahead of Jacob Roy in the Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Stock Mini standings. Patrick is looking to follow brother Kristian’s footsteps, bringing the Switser Family back-to-back four-cylinder track championships at White Mountain Motorsports Park for 2023 and 2024. Todd Derrington and 2023 top rookie McKenna Merchant remain in the title hunt during Saturday's action!

The Ammonoosuc Asphalt Mini Late Models return to the White Mountain highbanks for the first time since the Foley Oil & Propane Midseason Championships this Saturday night for a 40-lap affair with things all tied up at the top of the standings. Former champion Nick Anderson of Oxford, Massachusetts is in a stranglehold with Berlin, New Hampshire’s Matt LeBlanc for the overall title in part-time division with a host of others looking to break into victory lane on Saturday.

Andy Hill continues to lead the Wayne’s Market Dwarf Cars even after his win streak was smashed to bits by Bethlehem’s Jeff Ainsworth last time out. The scaled down open-wheeled coupes light up the White Mountain bullring with blistering laps, each time out proving the slightest bobble can take away the greatest of results.

Derby Line, Vermont’s Jackson Hunt became the latest first-time winner in the Dads 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Division on Milton CAT Midsummer Classic Saturday and looks to make it back-to-back victories this week. Hayden Bushey, Cooper Benoit, Kipytn Aldrich and Colby Stygles will be among those also looking to take another ‘W’ on Saturday.

White Mountain Motorsports Park returns on Saturday, August 10 for the rain-postponed Round #2 of the Central Asphalt Paving Triple Crown Series for the Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tigers! The Foley Oil & Propane Late Models, Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Minis, Ammonoosuc Asphalt Mini Late Models, Wayne’s Market Dwarf Cars and Dads 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Division are all back in action with a 6:00pm Post Time! Adult General Admission will be available for $15, kids 12-6 for $5 and children 5 and under free! The Family Four Pack (Two Adults, Two Kids) will also be available for $30.
