SRX Promotes Ashley Rogero-Butcher to Vice President Role

The Superstar Racing Experience (SRX) today named Ashley Rogero-Butcher as vice president of operations and logistics.

The all-star racing series begins its third year of competition in 2023 and features current and former racing legends competing in identically prepared cars in six short track races.

"Ashley is a rock star, she’s the glue that helps hold a lot of this together and I look forward to seeing her in this new role," said SRX co-founder and NASCAR Hall of Famer Tony Stewart who added that Rogero-Butcher will oversee all of the SRX race teams operations and logistics in 2023.

Rogero-Butcher, 25, of Naples, Florida joined SRX in 2021 as director of SRX’soperations and logistics.

“This is quite an honor and I look forward to working with (SRX CEO) Don Hawk and the ownership group, our teams, drivers as well as all of our corporate partners," said Rogero-Butcher. "The quality of the racing combined with some of the biggest names in all of motorsports on Saturday nights is only going to continue to grow in 2023 and beyond."

Rogero-Butcher joined SRX after stints at Nitro Kart, and Nitro Rally Cross. She competed in go-karts winning Florida and national titles. She moved to North Carolina in 2015 to pursue a career in the NASCAR world driving super late models before pursuing a college degree from Mitchell College in Mooresville, North Carolina.

She impressed Hawk who said Rogero-Butcher will become one of the most influential women in motorsports.

"After working in the office and on the road for an entire race season with her, it is my firm belief she is talented beyond her years and that she loves and knew racing, she’s a racer herself and she has an excellent, orderly approach to the races and the logistics involved in executing a successful racing operation," said Hawk.

"She’s a superstar she’s calculated, she’s humble, hungry and smart. Ashley is also very respected by the ownership group and the drivers we’ve worked with."

SRX will announce its 2023 race schedule, driver lineup, television partner and series sponsor in the coming months. CBS broadcasted each of the SRX races in 2021 and 2022 and Camping World served as the series sponsor in 2022.

In 2022 Stewart, Ryan Hunter-Reay, Paul Tracy, Bobby Labonte, Ryan Newman, Marco Andretti, Michael Waltrip and Greg Biffle competed as fulltime drivers and were joined by Tony Kanaan, Matt Kenseth, Chase Elliott, Ryan Blaney, Dave Blaney, Hailie Deegan, Helio Castroneves, Ernie Francis Jr., Josef Newgarden, Ken Schrader and several short track aces.
