Chris Patrick, the senior vice president and general manager, announced today that the Washington Capitals’ 2024 Rookie Camp will be held at the McMullen Hockey Arena in Annapolis, Md. from September 13 to 16, ARLINGTON, Va.

Terik Parascak, a first-round pick in 2024, along with Andrew Cristall, Alexander Suzdalev, Ilya Protas, and Zac Funk, are among the Capitals rookies who will be participating in the camp. The full roster will be made available at a future date.

After the conclusion of the Rookie Camp, the Capitals will kick off their 2024-25 Training Camp, in collaboration with MedStar Health. Caps Media Day is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 19 at the MedStar Capitals Iceplex.

Everyone involved with the Capitals, including players, coaches, and management, will be accessible for media engagement. The full training camp schedule and roster will be disclosed in due course. Mirroring past years, MedStar Capitals Iceplex will not permit media access on Wednesday, Sept. 18, when the Capitals veterans will undertake physicals and off-ice tests. The Capitals will be holding their 18th training camp at the MedStar Capitals Iceplex, a practice facility easily reachable by Metro, situated within the Beltway, and equipped with two NHL-sized rinks. The public is welcome to attend all on-ice sessions, free of charge.
