NFL linebacker honors Gaudreau with pregame outfit
Broncos’ Alex Singelton, with Calgary connection, wears Flames jersey to show support
Denver Broncos linebacker Alex Singelton honored Johnny Gaudreau before his game against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday by wearing Gaudreau’s No. 13 Calgary Flames jersey during walk-ins.
From 2016-2018, Singelton played on the Canadian Football League’s Calgary Stampeders. During those seasons, Gaudreau was playing for the Flames.

On Aug. 29, Gaudreau and his brother, Matthew, died in a tragic accident when they were struck by a car while riding bicycles near their home in Salem County, New Jersey. A funeral for the Gaudreau brothers will be held on Monday in Philadelphia.
Gaudreau spent the first nine season of his NHL career with the Flames before he signed with the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2022.
