It’s been a very disappointing season for the Sparks. Losing rookie Cameron Brink in the beginning of the season definitely put a damper on their plans. Hopefully she is back in full form next season.
For the season, the Sparks are the worst team in the league with a 7-30 record. They’re terrible on the road with a 2-16 record and are 1-9 in their last 10 games.
Rookie Rickea Jackson has had the chance to play more and get time in. She’s had some great games and shows a lot of promise for next year and the years to come. Dearica Hamby started off hot but cooled off. With Brink back, it could open things up for Hamby.
This Sparks team is odds are going to get the #1 pick and will add UConn guard Paige Bueckers to this young squad. Who knows, maybe next year this team makes the playoffs.

This is a game the Storm should win, and they will. They are the better team all around, as they should just a few nights ago. Since they saw them recently, I think the Storm make adjustments and blow them out this game.
We’re not going to be afraid of the points. The Sparks have lost their last 6 games and there really is no end in sight, other than their season. The Storm on the other hand are heating up, winning their last 3 games.
Nneka Ogwumike will be playing her former team yet again. She has had decent showings, hit her points in all 3 games. I like her again to get her points as well as her rebounds.
Sky Diggins-Smith has been on fire as of late, hitting her points line in her last 4 out of 5 games. Diggins-Smith also plays well against the Sparks, hitting her points line in 6 out of 7 games going back to 2022.
