Pistons forward Jerami Grant exits Wizards game with left calf strain

Jerami Grant logged just seven minutes and 30 seconds of playing time before exiting Detroit’s home game against Washington for good on Friday night due to a left calf strain.

Grant, who scored 40 points on March 19 against Cleveland, is averaging a team-best 19.5 points per game along with 4.1 rebounds and 1.1 blocks. The 28-year-old forward is in his second season with the Pistons after leaving Denver as a free agent in 2020.

Jerami Grant (left calf strain) will not return.
