F1 starting grid: What is the grid order for the 2024 Spanish Grand Prix?

Lando Norris pipped Max Verstappen to pole for the 2024 Spanish Grand Prix in a thrilling qualifying battle.
With Verstappen in the Red Bull and McLaren’s Norris joined by the Ferrari and Mercedes duos seemingly in the battle for pole, it was Verstappen and Norris who emerged from this pack as Norris secured that P1 grid slot for Sunday’s Spanish Grand Prix.
Lando Norris snatches Spanish GP pole from Max Verstappen
Following Verstappen’s final run, where he gained a few more tenths, it seemed he might secure the pole position. However, Norris outperformed him by clocking 1:11.383, beating Verstappen by a mere 0.02s and taking the pole for himself.
Lewis Hamilton has outqualified George Russell for just the second time this season, resulting in an all-Mercedes second row. On the third row, Charles Leclerc is ahead of his Ferrari team-mate and local favorite, Carlos Sainz.
The top 10 for the Spanish Grand Prix grid is completed by Pierre Gasly, Esteban Ocon, Oscar Piastri, and Fernando Alonso.

Following his three-place grid penalty from Canada, Sergio Perez is set to lead the effort to break into the top 10 and earn points. He is joined on the sixth row by Sauber’s Valtteri Bottas.
Nico Hulkenberg from Haas and Lance Stroll, Alonso’s team-mate from Aston Martin, will make up the seventh row. They will be followed by Zhou Guanyu in the second Sauber and Kevin Magnussen from Haas.
In the all-RB ninth row, Yuki Tsunoda is ahead of Daniel Ricciardo for the Spanish Grand Prix. The back row will consist of Williams’ Alex Albon and Logan Sargeant. After the team decided to change his Energy Store and Control Electronics, Albon moved down to the pit lane.
