F1 starting grid: What is the grid order for the 2024 Spanish Grand Prix?

Lando Norris pipped Max Verstappen to pole for the 2024 Spanish Grand Prix in a thrilling qualifying battle.
With Verstappen in the Red Bull and McLaren’s Norris joined by the Ferrari and Mercedes duos seemingly in the battle for pole, it was Verstappen and Norris who emerged from this pack as Norris secured that P1 grid slot for Sunday’s Spanish Grand Prix.
Lando Norris snatches Spanish GP pole from Max Verstappen
Verstappen seemed to have secured the pole position after shaving off a few more tenths in his final run. However, Norris delivered a 1:11.383, outdoing Verstappen by a mere 0.02s to claim the pole for himself.
Lewis Hamilton outqualified George Russell for only the second time this season, securing an all-Mercedes second row. Charles Leclerc took the lead over his Ferrari teammate and local favorite, Carlos Sainz, for the third row.
The top 10 for the Spanish Grand Prix grid is completed by Pierre Gasly, Esteban Ocon, Oscar Piastri, and Fernando Alonso.

Sergio Perez is set to spearhead the attempt to enter the top 10 and positions that earn points. This comes after his three-place grid penalty, which was given in Canada, was applied. Valtteri Bottas from Sauber will join him on the sixth row.
Nico Hulkenberg from Haas and Lance Stroll, Alonso’s team-mate from Aston Martin, will make up the seventh row. They will be ahead of Zhou Guanyu, who is in the second Sauber, and Kevin Magnussen from Haas.
Yuki Tsunoda is leading Daniel Ricciardo in an all-RB row nine. Alex Albon from Williams and Logan Sargeant will essentially form the last row for the Spanish Grand Prix. After his team decided to change his Energy Store and Control Electronics, Albon was relegated to the pit lane.
