F1 starting grid: What is the grid order for the 2024 Spanish Grand Prix?

Lando Norris pipped Max Verstappen to pole for the 2024 Spanish Grand Prix in a thrilling qualifying battle.
With Verstappen in the Red Bull and McLaren’s Norris joined by the Ferrari and Mercedes duos seemingly in the battle for pole, it was Verstappen and Norris who emerged from this pack as Norris secured that P1 grid slot for Sunday’s Spanish Grand Prix.
Lando Norris snatches Spanish GP pole from Max Verstappen
It seemed as though Verstappen might secure pole position after improving his final run by a few tenths, but Norris surprised everyone by clocking a 1:11.383, surpassing Verstappen by a mere 0.02s to claim the pole position for himself.
Lewis Hamilton outqualified George Russell for only the second time this season, securing an all-Mercedes second row. Charles Leclerc surpassed Ferrari team-mate and local favorite Carlos Sainz to take the third row.
The top 10 for the Spanish Grand Prix grid is completed by Pierre Gasly, Esteban Ocon, Oscar Piastri, and Fernando Alonso.

Following his three-place grid penalty from Canada, Sergio Perez will spearhead the effort to break into the top 10 and earn points. Valtteri Bottas of Sauber will be joining him on the sixth row.
Nico Hulkenberg from Haas and Lance Stroll, Alonso’s team-mate from Aston Martin, will make up the seventh row, followed by Zhou Guanyu in the second Sauber and Kevin Magnussen from Haas.
Yuki Tsunoda is in front of Daniel Ricciardo in an all-RB row nine, with Alex Albon and Logan Sargeant from Williams forming the back row for the Spanish Grand Prix. Albon was sent to the pit lane after his team decided to replace his Energy Store and Control Electronics.
