F1 starting grid: What is the grid order for the 2024 Spanish Grand Prix?

Lando Norris pipped Max Verstappen to pole for the 2024 Spanish Grand Prix in a thrilling qualifying battle.
With Verstappen in the Red Bull and McLaren’s Norris joined by the Ferrari and Mercedes duos seemingly in the battle for pole, it was Verstappen and Norris who emerged from this pack as Norris secured that P1 grid slot for Sunday’s Spanish Grand Prix.
Lando Norris snatches Spanish GP pole from Max Verstappen
Verstappen seemed to have secured the pole position after his final run, but Norris outperformed him with a 1:11.383, beating Verstappen by a mere 0.02s and taking the pole for himself.
Lewis Hamilton and George Russell, both from Mercedes, will make up the second row, with Hamilton outqualifying Russell for only the second time this season. The third row will feature Charles Leclerc and his Ferrari team-mate, local favorite Carlos Sainz, with Leclerc out in front.
Pierre Gasly, Esteban Ocon, Oscar Piastri, and Fernando Alonso round out the top 10 on the grid for the Spanish Grand Prix.

Following his three-place grid penalty incurred in Canada, Sergio Perez will spearhead the attempt to crack the top 10 and score points, with Valtteri Bottas of Sauber joining him on the sixth row.
Nico Hulkenberg from Haas and Lance Stroll, Alonso’s team-mate from Aston Martin, will make up the seventh row, followed by Zhou Guanyu in the second Sauber and Kevin Magnussen from Haas.
Yuki Tsunoda is leading Daniel Ricciardo in the all-RB row nine for the Spanish Grand Prix, with Alex Albon from Williams and Logan Sargeant forming the back row. Albon was moved to the pit lane after his team decided to replace his Energy Store and Control Electronics.
