F1 starting grid: What is the grid order for the 2024 Spanish Grand Prix?

Lando Norris pipped Max Verstappen to pole for the 2024 Spanish Grand Prix in a thrilling qualifying battle.
With Verstappen in the Red Bull and McLaren’s Norris joined by the Ferrari and Mercedes duos seemingly in the battle for pole, it was Verstappen and Norris who emerged from this pack as Norris secured that P1 grid slot for Sunday’s Spanish Grand Prix.
Lando Norris snatches Spanish GP pole from Max Verstappen
It appeared that Verstappen might have secured pole position after gaining a few more tenths in his final run. However, Norris outperformed him by posting a 1:11.383, beating Verstappen by a mere 0.02s, thus securing the pole position for himself.
Lewis Hamilton managed to outqualify George Russell for the second time this season, securing an all-Mercedes second row. Meanwhile, Charles Leclerc outperformed his Ferrari teammate and local hero Carlos Sainz, placing them both on the third row.
The top 10 for the Spanish Grand Prix grid is completed by Pierre Gasly, Esteban Ocon, Oscar Piastri, and Fernando Alonso.

Following his three-place grid penalty from Canada, Sergio Perez is set to spearhead the effort to break into the top 10 and earn points-paying positions. Valtteri Bottas of Sauber will be joining him on the sixth row.
Nico Hulkenberg from Haas and Lance Stroll, Alonso’s teammate from Aston Martin, will make up the seventh row. They will be ahead of Zhou Guanyu in the second Sauber and Kevin Magnussen from Haas.
The ninth row of the Spanish Grand Prix is entirely made up of RB cars, with Yuki Tsunoda leading Daniel Ricciardo. Meanwhile, Williams’ Alex Albon and Logan Sargeant will essentially make up the last row. Albon had to return to the pit lane after the team decided to replace his Energy Store and Control Electronics.
