F1 starting grid: What is the grid order for the 2024 Spanish Grand Prix?

Lando Norris pipped Max Verstappen to pole for the 2024 Spanish Grand Prix in a thrilling qualifying battle.
With Verstappen in the Red Bull and McLaren’s Norris joined by the Ferrari and Mercedes duos seemingly in the battle for pole, it was Verstappen and Norris who emerged from this pack as Norris secured that P1 grid slot for Sunday’s Spanish Grand Prix.
Lando Norris snatches Spanish GP pole from Max Verstappen
It seemed like Verstappen might have secured pole position after shaving off a few more tenths in his final run. However, Norris delivered a 1:11.383, outperforming Verstappen by a mere 0.02s and taking the pole position for himself.
In the all-Mercedes second row, Lewis Hamilton managed to outqualify George Russell for only the second time this season. Meanwhile, Charles Leclerc is ahead of his Ferrari team-mate, the local favorite, Carlos Sainz, in the third row.
The top 10 of the Spanish Grand Prix grid is completed by Pierre Gasly, Esteban Ocon, Oscar Piastri, and Fernando Alonso.

Sergio Perez is set to spearhead the attempt to break into the top 10 and earn points, after his three-place grid penalty from Canada has been applied. Valtteri Bottas of Sauber will be joining him on the sixth row.
Nico Hulkenberg from Haas and Lance Stroll, who is Alonso’s team-mate from Aston Martin, will make up the seventh row. They will be in front of Zhou Guanyu, who is in the second Sauber, and Kevin Magnussen from Haas.
Rewording this: Yuki Tsunoda leads Daniel Ricciardo in an all-RB row nine, with Alex Albon from Williams and Logan Sargeant forming the last row for the Spanish Grand Prix. Albon was relegated to the pit lane as the team chose to replace his Energy Store and Control Electronics.
