JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Triple Crown Series Returns in 2023 at Birch Run Speedway
Salem, IN (November 16, 2022) – Birch Run Speedway and CRA officials have announced that the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance will have the very popular Triple Crown Series again at Birch Run Speedway in 2023. The first Triple Crown Series event will take place on Saturday, May 13th. The second Triple Crown Series event will take place on Saturday, July 1st. The Triple Crown Championship event takes place on Saturday, September 9th.
The Birch Run Speedway Triple Crown Series for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour will have a special winner’s bonus program again in 2023. If the winner of the first Triple Crown Series event elects on the second event to start on the tail of the field and wins the 2nd event, that driver will earn a $7,000 bonus. If that winning driver elects to start at the tail of the Triple Crown Series Championship and that driver wins, that driver will earn a $25,000 bonus. That’s an opportunity for $32,000 in bonus winnings for the race winner of the Triple Crown Series!

Kyle Crump won the first JEGS/CRA All-Stars 2022 Tour Triple Crown event on May 15th. Crump then elected to start at the tail of the second Triple Crown event on July 2nd to go for the winner’s bonus. Crump fought through the field but ran out of laps and settled for a third-place finish behind event winner Carson Hocevar and second place finisher Katie Hettinger. Hocevar also won the Triple Crown Championship race on September 10th.
With a sixth-place finish in the first 2022 Triple Crown event, a fourth-place finish in the second Triple Crown event and a second-place finish in the Triple Crown Championship event, Chase Burda was the 2022 Triple Crown Champion and will be honored at the Birch Run Speedway 2022 Awards Banquet this Saturday at Birch Run Speedway.
