The 200-lap event will be the second stop on the series NTN Triple Crown which is sure to draw some big names to competition. 200 laps will be the longest event Adams has run, with the 172-lap Jr Hanley Classic being the closest.

“I’m really excited for the opportunity to run some more long races this year. Previously the longest I had run was 144 laps last year at the inaugural Jr Hanley Classic and I felt it that race… Since then I feel a lot more confident in my ability to run the longer races fitness-wise. But also because we have really upped our program and I’m not having to fight an ill car- that helps a lot.”

This is Adams’ first season in a Pro Late Model, she’s noted all the differences there are between that and the Limited Late Model and how she's really enjoyed learning about her new car.

“This year has been all about learning each week, I’m really excited every time I step into the shop to work on my car and I learn something new. It feels like I'm learning the sport all over again, then my chance to test and show all the time and effort put into the car comes around on Saturday nights!”

A hope for Adams this weekend would be to finish the race, she says, “200 laps is a long way to go, we want a clean race and to be able to say we finished an APC race, something I haven't been able to say yet.” Their team would be very pleased with a top 10 in Ontario’s top series.

“I really love this series, I know how much these guys and girls put into a weekend event and it just feels different walking into an APC event. I would love to compete full-time in the series. They give back so much to their teams.”

The race will be streaming live on Racing America for subscribers only, she has a giveaway posted on her Instagram for a link to race the event for free.
