Tanner English and Coltman Farms Racing Win Deep Fried 75 at Duck River Raceway Park
Tanner English’s amazing streak with Coltman Farms Racing kept going strong on Saturday night at Duck River Raceway Park.
English, who was driving the No. 96 Longhorn Chassis for the Maysville, Georgia-based team, won the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series Deep Fried 75 on Saturday evening and earned $20,000.
The Coltman Farms Racing team has never had a payday bigger than $20,000 in its history.
“Emerging from his race car, English exclaimed, “This is big.” He continued, “Watching this race last year from Cedar Lake was tough, given how much I adore this place. My winning record here is pretty impressive.”
The key moment of the race came on Lap 45, when leaders Ashton Winger and Dale McDowell came together down the backstretch while battling for the race lead. Both drivers retired from the race, allowing English to take command of the race.
For the rest of the race, English faced no challenges, securing his first victory in the 2024 Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series. This marked his second career win.
English and Coltman Farms Racing continue to have a successful summer with their recent victory. This adds to their impressive record, which already includes two wins at the DIRTcar Summer Nationals and the championship title for Week 4 of the Summer Nationals.
“English said, “I am immensely grateful to everyone involved with this car. Coltman Farms came through for me when I was struggling, barely managing to get by on an open trailer. Receiving that call was an amazing experience. I am also thankful for Brett. My gratitude towards him is immeasurable.”
