Blazers guard Anfernee Simons out 1-2 weeks with patellar tendinopathy

PORTLAND, Ore. – An MRI taken yesterday confirmed Trail Blazers guard Anfernee Simons with mild patellar tendinopathy in his left knee, the team announced today. Simons has missed Portland’s last two games. He will be reevaluated in one to two weeks.

Through 57 games (30 starts) this season, Simons is averaging career highs of 17.3 points (44.3% FG, 40.5% 3-PT, 88.8% FT), 2.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 29.5 minutes.
