Brooklyn Nets unveil new Statement Edition uniform
The Brooklyn Nets are the latest team to release a new uniform design for the 2019-20 season.
The Nets unveiled their new Statement Edition uniform on Thursday. The concrete grey uniform was designed by Brooklyn-based artist Eric Haze, who has contributed to the world of contemporary art, graphic design and branding for over four decades.
The uniform features hand-drawn “BKLYN” letters across the chest, Haze’s signature star down the left side of the jersey and “NETS” spelled out down the left side of the shorts.
The shorts also feature the team’s secondary logo.
The Nets will wear the uniform during their third-annual Practice in the Park at Brooklyn Bridge Park this weekend. It will be worn 22 times throughout the season, starting with Nov. 1 against the Houston Rockets.
