Durant (safety protocols), Irving (finger) out for Nets vs. Sixers

For Saturday’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers, the Nets will not have forward Kevin Durant and point guard Kyrie Irving.

Durant was disqualified from participating on Saturday afternoon due to Health & Safety Protocols, which also caused him to miss Friday’s game. According to Coach Steve Nash, Durant is anticipated to rejoin the team on the upcoming Friday.

Steve Nash has stated that Kevin Durant is expected to rejoin the Nets on Friday, assuming he completes the seven-day contact tracing protocol. Nash also clarified that Durant does not have Covid. In addition, Kyrie Irving is currently day-to-day due to a sprained right index finger.
