HBCU Student Showcase: Antoinette Williams

“I AM GREATNESS”

Artwork Theme: HBCU and Sports

Attending a HBCU and being a collegiate athlete is a moment that I wanted to capture. I’m showcasing a student graduating college which exemplifies black academic excellence. I also incorporated basketball which is important to HBCU culture. Athletes sometimes are put in a box and people do not focus on their academic success. This artwork shows that you can be both and have a successful life.
