Hornets show off new Statement Edition uniform, court for 2022-23
Cody Martin models the Hornets’ new Statement Edition uniform for the 2022-23 season.
The Charlotte Hornets are making not one, but two big statements with the revealing of a new Statement Edition uniform that will be paired with a Statement Edition court for 2022-23.
The team said the new uniform is sticking with a purple colorway but will now feature a “Hornets” wordmark on the chest in white with teal trim.
The new uniform will also include a No. 6 patch that will be worn on the right shoulder of all NBA uniforms in memory of Bill Russell.

Per the team, this is the first time the Hornets are attaching a themed court to a Statement Edition uniform. In previous seasons, Charlotte wore Classic Edition and City Edition uniforms with corresponding courts.
