Massive Pork Tenderloin Sandwich
Since the early 1900s, the Tenderloin Sandwich has served as a staple comfort food for Hoosiers. This unique iteration is bound to sustain the tenderloin tradition. The Massive Pork Tenderloin Sandwich exceeds its brioche bun boundaries and is enhanced by an assortment of toppings. A combination of zesty herb aioli, yellow onion, dill pickles, tomato, and lettuce add an extra burst of flavor.
Ingredients
MASSIVE PORK TENDERLOIN SANDWICH |
Brioche bun toasted |
Herb mayo |
Pork tenderloin, fried |
Green leaf lettuce |
2 5×6 sliced tomatoes |
2 yellow onions |
3 dill pickles |
HERB AIOLI |
1/4 cup thyme |
1/4 cup oregano |
1/2 cup parsley |
2 tbsp. garlic |
1/2 cup EVOO |
8 cups mayo |
Directions:
SANDWICH:
- Cook breaded pork tenderloin in a fryer at 350 F for about 3-4 minutes until it’s thoroughly cooked and turns golden. Let the excess grease drip off over the fryer.
- Toasted bun lightly on flat top.
- Apply herb mayo on both the top and bottom bun.
- Put the bottom bun on a plate and add the fried pork filet on top.
- Place lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles on the sandwich and then cover it with the top bun.
- Insert a toothpick to keep the sandwich together.
HERB AIOLO:
- Mix all until well combined.
- Keep refrigerated for up to seven days until ready to use.
