Irving (illness), Horford (rest) out tonight for Celtics

BOSTON (AP) — The Boston Celtics will be without starters Kyrie Irving and Al Horford for their game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Irving is out due to symptoms similar to the flu, and Horford is taking a rest Wednesday night. In December, Horford was absent for seven games due to left knee discomfort.

Coach Brad Stevens announced that Terry Rozier will replace Irving in the starting lineup, and Aron Baynes will substitute for Horford.

Boston comes in riding a four-game winning streak. On the flip side, the Cavaliers are on a rough patch, having lost 16 of their past 17 games and currently holding the worst record in the NBA at 9-39.
