Former NBA guard Mitchell Wiggins dies at 64

Mitchell Wiggins, a six-season NBA veteran, has died at age 64. His daughter, as well as the National Basketball Retired Players Association and the Houston Rockets franchise, confirmed the news via social media.
Wiggins is the father of current Golden State Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins.

Wiggins, drafted 23rd overall by Indiana before having his rights traded to Chicago, averaged 12.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists in his rookie season with the Bulls. He also played for the 1986 Western Conference champion Rockets. Wiggins played briefly for the Philadelphia 76ers.
