The Brooklyn Nets defeated the New York Knicks, 98-80, at Cox Pavilion in Day 3 of the NBA 2K24 Summer League on Sunday.

The Knicks got off to a better start and looked in control in the early stages of the contest, racing to a 28-23 lead in the first quarter, but the Nets responded and made it a two-point game after a 24-21 score in the second period. Brooklyn kept the momentum going and took the lead in the third quarter following a 24-15 score and didn’t look back. The Nets closed things out following a 27-16 score in the fourth and final quarter.

Armoni Brooks led the way for the Nets with 21 points and three steals, while David Duke Jr. ended with 19 points, four assists and three steals. Jalen Wilson ended with 18 points and eight boards, and Kennedy Chandler posted 11 points with seven assists.

Charlie Brown Jr. was the leading scorer for the Knicks with 16 points and six rebounds. Jaylen Martin had 15 points and six assists, Isaiah Roby finished with 12 points and six rebounds, and Dmytro Skapintsev added 12 points and four boards off the bench.

The Nets will play again Tuesday when they collide against the Milwaukee Bucks. Meanwhile, the Knicks are off until Wednesday when they’ll face the Orlando Magic.
