NBA 2K24 Summer League: Hardy leads Mavericks past 76ers

The Dallas Mavericks defeated the Philadelphia 76ers, 111-103, at Cox Pavilion on Monday during Day 4 of the 2023 NBA 2K24 Summer League.

The Mavericks mounted an impressive comeback to secure the victory, although they endured a rough start and saw the Sixers control the matchup for the most part during the opening three quarters. Philadelphia held a 15-point lead entering the final period, but the Mavericks destroyed the 76ers in the final frame, outscoring them 37-14 to come away with a win.

Jaden Hardy led Dallas’ comeback with a 24-point effort that also included six rebounds and five assists, while McKinley Wright chipped in 13 points. Taze Moore had 13 points and Mike Miles finished with 10 points, both coming off the bench.

Despite coming off the bench, DJ Steward was the leading scorer for the 76ers with 24 points, while Terquavion Smith had 18 points, six rebounds and six assists. Javonte Smart finished with 15 points, six assists and five boards, and Filip Petrusev had 12 points.

The Mavericks play next against the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday, while the 76ers will take on the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday.
