The New Orleans Pelicans defeated the Charlotte Hornets 89-83 at Cox Pavilion on Thursday in the NBA 2K24 Summer League.

The Hornets struggled in the first quarter with just five points, allowing the Pelicans to establish a 20-point lead they’d never relinquish. The Hornets did their best to bounce back from the early deficit, including a 29-14 second quarter, but it was not enough to get the job done, as the Pelicans secured a six-point victory.
