Nets fined $100K for violating NBA's Player Participation Policy

Today, the NBA declared that the Brooklyn Nets team has received a $100,000 fine for breaching the Player Participation Policy. This violation is linked to their game against the Milwaukee Bucks at the Barclays Center on Dec. 27.

After an investigation that included an independent physician’s review, the NBA found that four rotation players from the Nets, who did not play in the game, were actually fit to play under the medical standard of the Player Participation Policy. This policy, adopted before this season, aims to encourage player participation in the NBA’s 82-game season. The Nets organization violated this policy.
