New York Knicks: The Hellboy Pie

The Hellboy Pie
Is there anything more quintessentially New York than a slice of pizza? You can find a fantastic pizza place on nearly every block across the city’s five boroughs. But did you know there’s another spot where you can indulge in a mouth-watering slice? Madison Square Garden, where you can get a piping hot pizza straight from the Paulie Gee’s stand. Teaming up with Paulie Gee’s, the Hellboy Recipe delivers a slice of NYC and the New York Knicks right to your kitchen.
Ingredients:
DOUGH |
21.62 oz flour |
445.94 grams water |
12.16 grams salt |
12.16 grams oil blended |
4.05 grams yeast |
MARINARA SAUCE (yield: 5 gallons) |
6 onions; small diced |
32 cloves garlic |
6 cans tomato magic |
2 cups olive oil |
MISCELLANEOUS |
12 oz. of marinara sauce |
100 grams of pepperoni |
150 grams of shredded mozzarella |
150 grams of fresh mozzarella |
1/4 cup sesame seeds |
Directions:
MARINARA SAUCE:
- Cook onions in 1 cup of oil until they become translucent.
- Add tomatoes into pan with onions
- Cook garlic cloves in a separate pan until they turn golden.
- Pour the garlic oil into a pot containing tomatoes and onions after straining it. Let it cook for an hour.
Keep in mind that the sauce does not contain garlic.
PIZZA PIE:
- Spread sesame seeds on a greased baking sheet.
- Spread dough to cover baking sheet
- Place the mozzarella cheese mixture on top of the dough and partially bake for 5-7 minutes.
- Top dough with sauce and pepperoni
- Bake for an additional 10 minutes
