Nikola Jokic returns to the floor after 4-game absence
Nikola Jokic returns with panache after missing four games with a right wrist sprain.
After missing four games with a right wrist sprain, Denver Nuggets star center Nikola Jokic returned from injury Monday, in time for a nationally televised matchup with the Miami Heat on NBA TV.
And apparently, he did so at full strength: Jokic started and played 32 minutes, leading the Nuggets in a 120-111 rout that wasn’t as close as the final margin. The reigning Kia MVP posted 24 points, 15 rebounds and 7 assists, shooting 9-for-14 from the field, including 1-for-2 from 3 and 5-for-6 at the line.
