Pistons' Ausar Thompson (blood clot), Isaiah Stewart (hamstring) to miss remainder of season

Isaiah Stewart, the center, and Ausar Thompson will not play for the rest of the season.

Ausar Thompson, a forward for the Pistons, will be absent for the rest of the 2023-24 season due to a blood clot treatment. Pistons team physician, Dr. Ramsey Shehab of Henry Ford Health, has given Thompson the green light to start conditioning again. He will initiate non-contact basketball activities after the regular season ends, slowly increasing intensity over the summer, and is expected to make a full comeback next season.

Isaiah Stewart, the center for the Pistons, will be out for the rest of the 2023-24 season due to a right hamstring strain. He sustained the injury in the third quarter of Monday’s game in Boston.
