Reports: Bucks add D.J. Augustin, Bobby Portis
Bobby Portis contributes a physical presence to Milwaukee’s frontcourt.
On Saturday, the Bucks pursued their proactive offseason revamp, securing free agent agreements with forward Bobby Portis and point guard D.J. Augustin, according to various reports from Shams Charania of The Athletic and Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

ESPN sources report that free agent guard DJ Augustin has accepted a three-year, $21M deal with Milwaukee.

The additions come on the heels of Milwaukee’s imminent trade for Jrue Holiday and the reported departures of Robin Lopez and Ersan Ilyasova.
Last season, 25-year-old Portis averaged 10.1 points and 5.1 rebounds per game for the Knicks in his fifth NBA season. Over his career, he has averaged 10.2 points and 5.9 rebounds per game.
33-year-old Augustin will be joining his ninth NBA team in 13 seasons. His career averages are 9.9 points and 4.0 assists.
