Reports: Bucks add D.J. Augustin, Bobby Portis

Bobby Portis adds a physical presence to the frontcourt of Milwaukee.

On Saturday, the Bucks continued with their vigorous offseason changes, signing free agent deals with forward Bobby Portis and point guard D.J. Augustin, according to various reports from Shams Charania of The Athletic and Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

ESPN sources reveal that free agent guard DJ Augustin has consented to a three-year deal with Milwaukee, valued at $21M.

The additions come on the heels of Milwaukee’s imminent trade for Jrue Holiday and the reported departures of Robin Lopez and Ersan Ilyasova.

Portis, aged 25, had an average of 10.1 points and 5.1 rebounds per game for the Knicks in his fifth NBA season. Throughout his career, he has averaged 10.2 points and 5.9 rebounds per game.

Augustin, aged 33, is set to join his ninth team in his 13-year NBA career. His career averages stand at 9.9 points and 4.0 assists per game.
