The Memphis Grizzlies defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 94-86 in the Salt Lake City Summer League at Delta Center on Wednesday.

There were only five lead changes in the game, with the Grizzlies maintaining the lead for most of the matchup. A 39-31 first quarter ignited that dominance before closing things out with a 38-32 second half. They got their lead up to 16 points at times. The Grizzlies shot 45% from 3-point range (17-of-38), while the Thunder connected on just 29% (10-of-34). Memphis also had 14 steals to OKC’s five, outscoring the Thunder 29-7 in points off of turnovers.

The Grizzlies (2-0) were led by Jake LaRavia’s 25 points. Kenneth Lofton finished with 12 points, four rebounds, four assists and three steals. Vince Williams had 18 points, nine rebounds and two steals, while Jacob Gilyard added 10 points, four rebounds, six assists and seven steals.

The Thunder (1-1) were led by Tre Mann’s 28 points. Chet Holmgren had 10 points, 11 rebounds, two steals and three blocks. Jared Butler provided 16 points, four rebounds and six assists, while Ousmane Dieng generated 13 points and six rebounds.
