76ers 80, Thunder 79: Box score | Game details

The Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder, 80-79, on Thursday, the last day of the Salt Lake City Summer League.

The 76ers and the Thunder played a back-and-forth game that was only decided in the final seconds of the contest. Isaiah Joe was the hero for the 76ers, as he drained the game-deciding 3 with fewer than 30 seconds left on the clock, though he did give Oklahoma City one last chance to make a heroic shot. Tre Mann missed what would have been the game-winning 3, and Philadelphia escaped with the victory.

Aside from draining the game-winning shot, Isaiah Joe scored a team-high 19 points for the Sixers, Paul Reed ended with 14 points and seven rebounds, and Jaden Springer notched 11 points. No other Philadelphia player scored in double digits.

The Thunder didn’t have Chet Holmgren, but five players scored in double digits for them. Aleksej Pokusevski ended with 14 points, Tre Mann had 13, and Aaron Wiggins notched 11 points. Jeremiah Robinson-Earl and Josh Giddey both delivered 10 points, too.

Both teams will return to action Saturday in the NBA 2K23 Las Vegas Summer League. The 76ers will face the Toronto Raptors, while the Thunder will take on the Rockets.
