Sotheby's to serve as NBA's official game-worn source
NEW YORK — The National Basketball Association (NBA) and Sotheby’s today announced a multiyear partnership, making Sotheby’s the Official Game-Worn Source of the NBA. The collaboration will provide fans access to purchase a wide-range of iconic game-worn NBA memorabilia.
To commemorate the partnership, the NBA and Sotheby’s launched their Tip-Off auction today on Sothebys.com/NBAAuctions, which features a notable selection of more than 60 game-worn jerseys, from Kia NBA Tip-Off 2023 as well as prior seasons. Highlights from the auction will be publicly available at Sotheby’s New York Headquarters November 14-22, with bidding open through November 28.

Throughout the 2023-24 NBA season, Sotheby’s will host a variety of auctions – both online and live – that feature NBA game-worn jerseys, apparel, and other memorabilia available for purchase only at Sotheby’s. The exclusive products will include items from marquee events, such as Kia NBA Tip-Off, NBA Christmas Day, NBA All-Star, the NBA Finals presented by YouTube TV, NBA In-Season Tournament, regular season games and more.
