On Wednesday, the Suns announced a new contract, signaling their search for a boost in scoring from the bench as they drive towards the postseason. Thomas, who averaged 15.2 points per game in his 46 appearances with the Suns during the 2014-15 season, could provide that extra firepower.

Across 550 career games with the Kings, Suns, Celtics, Cavaliers, Lakers, Nuggets, Wizards, Pelicans, Mavericks, and Hornets, Thomas has achieved an average score of 17.7 points per game.
