Warriors' Green upgraded to questionable for Friday's game vs. Bucks

If Draymond Green has his way, he’ll be on the court for tonight’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks (9:30 ET, ESPN).

According to Mark Media of the Mercury News, Green plans to see how his sprained right toe feels during and after pregame warmups before discussing things with the Warriors training staff.

Green plans to participate in a pre-game warmup and then speak with the Warriors training staff. Then, Green will learn if he can return after missing 13 of the past 15 games.

“My gut is to give him a few more days,” Kerr said. “He feels like he’s ready to go right now.”

Kerr earlier projected that Green would return during the Warriors’ ensuing homestand either on Monday against Minnesota or Wednesday against Toronto. Kerr noted, though, that Green “has made huge strides over the last four or five days.” Green received treatment on his toe at the end of the Wednesday’s morning shootaround in Cleveland and resumed exercises before the game on a stationary bike. At the end of Friday’s morning shootaround, Green participated in drills with Warriors assistant coach Chris DeMarco.
