Blue Jackets invite fans to candlelight vigil in remembrance of Johnny, Matthew Gaudreau
The vigil is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, at the Front St. Plaza outside the Nationwide Arena.
The Columbus Blue Jackets are inviting fans to a candlelight vigil in honor of Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau. The vigil is scheduled for Wednesday, September 4, at 7:30 p.m. ET. It will take place at the Front Street Plaza, located outside the east entrance of the Nationwide Arena.
The Blue Jackets organization will make brief remarks during the vigil, followed by a 13:21 minute silence in memory of the jersey numbers 13 and 21 worn by Johnny when he played for the Blue Jackets, Calgary Flames, and Boston College, and by Matthew at Boston College, respectively.
