Kaizer Chiefs Amakhosi have brought in a familiar face as they seek strong reinforcements before the upcoming season.
Njabulo Blom, a player who rose through the ranks at Amakhosi, has returned to his roots – Naturena.
He returned to the club on a one-year loan deal from St Louis City, a Major League Soccer team.
In January 2023, Blom was signed by the MLS team to play under his fellow countryman, Bradley Carnell.
However, after Carnell left, the utility player experienced a decrease in game time under interim coach John Hackworth.
With the player clearly not in the plans of the new mentor, it made sense for him to return home and start afresh.
