3 Must Bet Props for NFL Week 3: Studs will be Studs
NFL Week 3 kicked off on Thursday, as Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets dismantled their AFC East foe the New England Patriots, 24-3.
The Jets finally look like a team that could be a force to be reckoned with, as Rodgers and company were able to move the ball with ease and coast to an easy victory. Many people’s sexy Super Bowl pick finally looked like a team that might actually be able to play the part.
But time will tell.
Thursday is now in the past, the weekend is here and Week 3 kicks off with lots of fantastic matchups to take in. If you are looking for breakdowns of each game on the slate this week, our kickass team has you covered.

1. Alvin Kamara o65.5 Rushing Yards Prop (+100) BetOnline
Alvin Kamara looks to build on his excellent start to the 2024 season
Welcome to week 3! The NFL Season is already flying and we have yet another week of awesome matchups. I have been targeting alot of running backs to start the season, and it has been paying off. Here is part of the reason why…
League-wide, through 2 weeks…
69 Pass TD (fewest since 2006)
7.1 avg tgt depth (lowest on record)
41% designed run plays (highest since 2008)
30 second TOP/play (slowest since 2008)
545 blitzes (fewest on record)
46% 2-high safety % (highest on record)

This is a longer discussion about the entire NFL and the shift that is occurring infront of our very eyes but to get to the point…NFL offenses are running the damn ball!
Defensive rosters are constructed nowadays to stop high flying passing games, with lots of nickel and dime packages. In the trenches, Defensive linemen (edge rushers especially) are tasked with rushing the passer as a higher priority than setting the edge and stopping the run.
This defensive philosophy is leaving massive gaps in the run game and offenses are taking advantage of it. As bettors, let’s do the same.
One of the better backs in the NFL to start the season has been Alvin Kamara, who is 6th in the NFL with 198 rush yards through 2 weeks.
Kamara has been averaging 5.7 yards per carry as well, showing that not only has he been getting big chunks, he has been efficient with his opportunities.
Can that Success Continue against Philadelphia?
That efficiency and overall success should continue this week against the Philadelphia Eagles, who have been getting pounded on the ground so far this season.
The Eagles are allowing the 29th most rush yards to running backs this season, at 140 ground yards per game to the position. Josh Jacobs & the Packers racked up 163 yards on the ground in the season opener. Then, Bijan Robinson & company gashed the Eagles for 152 yards on Monday Night football.
I expect the Saints to attack the Eagles on the ground with Kamara, which should lead to another big day on the ground for 41.
2. Ceedee Lamb o83.5 Receiving yards Prop (-115) BetOnline
Will CeeDee Lamb take advantage of the poor Ravens secondary?
Next up, we are targeting a wide receiver for the first time in this series and what better wide out to target. CeeDee has gotten off to a bit of a slow start to the season, given his very high expectations, but he has still been very good through 2 weeks.
Lamb racked up 90 yards in Week 2 in the Cowboys loss to the Saints and while he only managed 4 catches, he was still targeted 7 times and took one of these grabs to the house.

Dak is prioritizing getting the ball to his All-Pro wideout and it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that is a good idea.
That should only increase this week, as the Cowboys take on the Ravens at home in Jerry’s world and the Ravens pass defense has been..well…bad.
Baltimore is dead last in the NFL through 2 weeks, allowing 283.5 yards game through the air, after getting torched by the Chiefs and the Raiders.
They also allowed a 100+ yard receiver in Week 1 (Rashee Rice) & Week 2 (Davonte Adams). The Cowboys know the Ravens’ weakness in the secondary and I expect Lamb and company to take advantage of it all game long.
3. Tony Pollard o59.5 Rushing Yards Prop (-114) BetOnline
Tony Pollard looks for another big day on the ground again
Let’s finish things off with Tony Pollard and see if he can cash for us for the 3rd week in a row.
If you stopped by my article last week, Pollard was my favorite prop of the week and he got the job done on the ground against the Jets. Let’s go straight back to him again in an even better matchup against the Packers.
Pollard has been great to start the season for the Titans, looking explosive out of the backfield running and also as a receiver. Pollard is looking more and more like his 2021 self when he was one of the most electric running backs in football for the Cowboys.
Now in Tennessee, the Titans are utilizing Pollard perfectly, getting him into space and giving him nice running lanes to take advantage of his speed and elusiveness.
With 82 yards in Week 1 and 62 last week against the Jets, I expect a similar outing from Pollard, with maybe even his best day on the ground loading due to the matchup.
Pollard looks to slice up the Packers Run Defense
The Packers aren’t great at stopping the run, allowing over 140 yards so far to start the season. Saquon Barkley went for 109 yards in week 1 and Jonathan Taylor also eclipsed the century mark, rushing for 103 yards for the Colts.
Pollard could be in for another big day on the ground. Let’s cash out on him once again!
