Shohei Ohtani could become the only person in MLB history to hit 50 HR and 50 SB.

Despite practically being neighbours, the Angels and Dodgers don’t really play a lot of games against each other. They played a 2-game series at Dodger Stadium back in June, splitting both games.

Tonight’s game marks the first time Shohei Ohtani will be returning to Angel Stadium and just the third time he’s facing his former team. In his prior two games against the Angels, he recorded a 0.500 batting average, recorded 9 total bases and hit two absolute BOMBS.

The Dodgers have won 5 of their last 6 games, further securing their hold on the NL West. They shit 5 games ahead of the Padres and 6 games in front of the Diamondbacks. The Angels are once again going to miss the post-season and once again look to the off-season.
